Malawi - An Overview

Among the noteworthy accomplishments of the final group of Bantu immigrants was the development of political states, or the introduction of centralized devices of government. They recognized the Maravi Confederacy about 1480. Through the sixteenth century the confederacy encompassed the better part of what is now central and southern Malawi, and, at the height of its click affect, inside the 17th century, its system of presidency affected peoples from the adjacent areas of current-working day Zambia and Mozambique.
